International Miniature Graphic Art Exhibition Timisoara - Romania - 2011



The new project is organised by the West University of Timisoara - the Faculty of Arts and Design – Department of Design, with the aim to ease the artistic dialogue and to offer a modern perspective on how fine arts are evolving in the age of globalization. (

The theme of the –
International Miniature Graphic Art Exhibition Timisoara Romania - 2011 is “island of unwanted things”.
The artists are invited to participate with a single work of art on paper or carton with the maximum dimensions of 15 x 21 cm (A5), unframed and without passe-partout.
Accepted techniques: drawings, engravings, collages, computer. Three-dimensional creations are not accepted.
No entry fee . The submitted work will become part of the documentary archives of the Faculty of Arts and Design Timisoara.
The catalogue of the exhibition will be available online, as well as further information on all the stages of the organisation, from the receipt of the works of art to the opening day and the press coverage.
A specialised jury will nominate the submitted works.
15 nominated works of art will join the permanent exhibition in the Gallery 1 design of the Faculty of Arts and Design Timisoara.
The deadline for the submission is 30 november 2010. The works should be sent to the following address:

Please specify on the envelope «Document without commercial value». The organisers can not be held responsible for the deterioration or the loss of the works of art during transport.
